Christmas Wine Tasting event December 1st

We are partnering with Sheffield-based wine merchants Le Bon Vin, and Harland Works tenants, .Ginger Grazing Co.. to create a special Christmas wine tasting event on 1st December.

Book your ticket to join us for a fun and entertaining of wine tasting, guided by wine expert Sarah Farey.

Sarah will talk us through the wines she has selected for us to try from the vast range stocked at Le Bon Vin, and why they make the perfect pairing partners for your Christmas meal. (includes vegetarian and vegan Christmas feasts too). We’ll be sampling 2 white wines, 2 red wines and 1 sparkling wine.

Le Bon Vin was founded by Patrick, a French man, who settled here when he married a Yorkshire women. He was passionate about wines and started his business from his bedroom on £5. It still offers amazing value to fellow Yorkshire folk, benefiting from Patrick’s in-depth knowledge of the best family-owned single-estate French vineyards. By importing direct, Le Bon Vin can offer the best prices to us Sheffielders because they cut out layers of middlemen. If you have ever been to their warehouse, the choice can be over whelming! So this evening is a chance to benefit from Sarah’s expertise as she brings a hand picked selection for us to try. She can tell us about the wines, and just why she recommends them as our perfect Christmas pairings. At the end of the evening you’ll be able to buy the wines you like if you wish - and even create your very own, hand picked Christmas Wine case to enjoy.

Accompanying the wines we’ll be enjoying beautiful cheese and charcuterie boards from our tenants .Ginger Grazing Co.. At Harland Works we see them going out for other events and clients ….so we’re really excited that we’ll get to try some in the cafe at this event!
