Planning April's Chilean Wine Tasting Event
This week I have the very enviable task of having conversations with Faye at Le Bon Vin and Simon at the Cheese Factor in Chesterfield about the wine and cheese pairings we want to offer at our Chilean wine tasting next week. So far the running order looks something like…
Linaje Cabernet Sauvignon - paired with either a cheddar or a double gloucester with onion or chives
Anatano Merlot - Charcoal Cheddar
Casanova Malbec - Blue Stilton from Tuxford and Tebbut
Sauvignon Reserva - soft Goats Cheese
Chardonnay Reserva - Brie (maybe smoked?) or Gouda
If you are booked in you’ll get to see how well you think we’ve chosen! But I can’t deny that we don’t all enjoy the discussions around what to offer (and the taste-testing that goes with it!).
If you’ve missed our series on World Wines, but would like to come to future wine tastings we have some more being planned - subscribe to the newsletter if you’d like to get the info about when they are ready to book.
