  • Harland Works 70 John Street Sheffield, England, S2 4QU United Kingdom (map)

We’ve a series of fun and creative sewing workshops coming up this Summer with Helen from Badger & Bobbins

Learn to sew your very own cushion cover! In this workshop we will piece together upcycled fabrics to make a patchwork cushion cover with an envelope back. Bring your old shirts, dresses, worn out shorts, bed sheets etc and give them a new lease of life by upcycling them into a beautiful cushion cover!

Suitable for beginners, we will cover how to piece together different fabrics to construct a patchwork front for your cushion cover, we will then make the envelope back and pull it all together for a unique statement piece of upholstery.

No previous machine sewing experience is necessary - don't worry if you have never used a machine before or aren't feeling confident sewing on your own, Helen be there to help you get going and build your confidence as you sew.

Sewing machines are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own too. There are just 8 spaces per workshop.
