'Cycling Legends 02 TI-Raleigh' Book talk with Chris Sidwells

  • Harland Works 70 John Street Sheffield, England, S2 4QU United Kingdom (map)

Join Chris Sidwells on the 17th March for a talk about his love of cycling and his recently published book ‘Cycling Legends 02 TI-Raleigh’ The TI-Raleigh professional cycling team, sponsored by the iconic Nottingham bike brand, is one of the most famous teams in the history of the sport. It was a revolutionary team, the first super-team, a team like the best teams of today. The story of TI-Raleigh is one of ambition, larger than life characters, vision, determination and relentless drive to deliver success.

Chris outlines all of this in his talk, which is illustrated with rare and some never before seen photos of the characters and action of the team.

Chris has worked as a cycling journalist for 17 years, writing thousands of articles for newspapers, magazines and websites worldwide, as well as writing 25 other books, many of which have been best sellers and have been translated into over 20 foreign languages. Cycling Legends is Chris’s sports media business, which is comprised of book publishing, event promotion and his podcast www.cyclinglegendspodcast.com a monthly cycling magazine you listen to with features, interviews, tech, fitness, news, opinion and history shows.

Chris will have copies of Cycling Legends 02 TI-Raleigh for sale at the talk. There will also be copies of Cycling Legends 01 Tom Simpson you can buy, as well as other books and Graham Watson posters.
