UPDATE - This workshop is now fully booked. Sorry you missed it - but if you think you might like to know early about our Easter holiday family workshops, please join our mailing list here and you’ll be added to our list of people we tell first when we release new tickets!
Stuck for things to do this Feb half term? Join us for a fun-filled Polymer Clay workshop where you’ll learn how to create a delicious-looking Burger model, a stunning Marbled Initial Key-Ring, and an adorable 3D Bear. The experienced artist, Gill Cosford will guide you through the process of molding, shaping, and adding intricate details to your clay creations. You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve with this versatile material! You will then take your creations home to bake in your home oven. Full instructions will be given.
You will be in safe hands with Gill who says:
“I have been creating beautiful and intricate designs with polymer clay for almost four decades now. I have had the pleasure of sharing my passion for this modelling clay with a diverse range of individuals and groups over the years. From school children to community organizations, and from beginners to experienced artists, I have conducted workshops that cater to everyone’s needs and interests. My goal is to inspire creativity and foster a love for this versatile material in all my students"
Feedback from some of Gill’s workshops: Neil Hoskins age 11 “ I really enjoyed it, it was brill! I really enjoyed making my swimming picture. I hope you can come again!” and Jenna age 11 “It was really good. I thought it would be a lot harder. I would like to do it again. Thank you so much.”
Our sessions are designed to be adult friendly too - as your little ones are kept busy with creative activities, we hope you have time to drink a coffee or tea in relative peace, should you wish to! Although we do find that some adults tend to get just as engaged as the children in our activities!
Children need to be accompanied by an adult, £6 per child booking fee.
Our cafe is very child friendly - please ask for our child menu or a high chair.
