Wine tasting - Chardonnay

  • Harland Works 70 John Street Sheffield, England, S2 4QU United Kingdom (map)

A Chardonnay wine tasting evening is an elegant and enjoyable experience that allows wine enthusiasts to sample and appreciate a variety of Chardonnay wines from different regions and countries. Sarah Fairey our resident wine expert will guide you through the tasting, providing insights into the different Chardonnay wines.

Chardonnay comes from Burgundy and is used to make some of the world's most sought after white wines, from  crisp and 'unoaked' with a minerally taste to rich and buttery when aged in a barrel. It is used in wines as varied as Champagne to Chablis, top New World wines from Napa Valley and Australia's Margaret River. There is probably a Chardonnay that you already love - this could be a chance to find some new ones?

There will be cheese boards sourced from and paired by Cheese Factor of Chesterfield who will come up with cheeses to help balance the wines, and give you enough ballast to keep going with tasting all 5 wines!

Wines will be provided by Sheffield wine merchants Le Bon Vin.

Tickets available now £35pp
