Dog Life Drawing Class

We have a lot of dogs connected with Harland Works and they are all - without exception - very handsome!

So in a new collaboration with artist Colette Cameron, we are starting with a dog life drawing class…. I can’t wait …although I won’t volunteer my dog as - although naturally I think he is very beautiful - he is not great with other dogs and I can imagine the class being slightly unruly if he was involved, so maybe best not.

For those of you who don’t know Colette but would like to have a go at something creative or artistic, I would like to reassure you that she is known as a lovely and skillful teacher, gifted at making art accessible and fun. Here’s a description of the class with more info:

“Come along to this friendly and fun dog sketching event, and have a go a drawing live dogs. Suitable for all abilities from the complete beginner to the seasoned sketcher. Colette will be on hand to offer expert advice and top tips to help you create expressive and lively sketches.

Colette has been teaching creative classes for 20 years, and loves drawing dogs. "Trying to capture their character before they move too much is great fun!"

You can buy basic materials including sketchbooks and pencils on the day, and feel free to bring your own materials too.

Places limited so book early!
