Friday Lunchtime Busking is Coming back!

We have some new dates for your diary as we’re delighted to announce that the regular Friday lunchtime busking is coming back to the cafe. Normal (what ever that is now!) service will be resumed, as Chris Walker is joined by some of the finest musicians in the region for Friday lunch jazz from 12:30 to 14:30. Sitters in welcome. We start on Friday  5th November… and the two dates in the diary so far are:

• Friday November 5th. Phil Johnson - Keys and vocals. Multi Instrumentalist Phil has a fabulous repertoire including tunes from Jazz, Blues, Soul, Funk and Pop Genres.

• Friday December 10th. Nicola Farnon - Double Bass and Vocals. Sheffield’s first lady of swing. 

No ticket required, and sitters-in very welcome.

It’s not the only music we’ve hosted here at Harland Works since Covid hit … the Langsett Dance Orchestra re-started their practicing in the Summer in the safe, outdoor space of the courtyard. The sounds were amazing .. and they’ve promised to come and play for us ‘properly sometime when it all feels safe.
